Casa Pacifica recently acquired a new office in Goleta, CA. As a non-profit, they relay widely on donations and sponsors. bkm worked with Casa Pacifica to create a functional design for their space while being consistent with their other locations, however funds and time was limited – Casa Pacifica needed to move in within 3 weeks!
In effort to save on cost and shorten the timeline, bkm partnered with a past client who wanted to dispose of their furniture that they purchased months before the pandemic. The furniture they purchased sat unused in their space for years due to the business relocated to a smaller space. The furniture was in perfect condition, and suited Casa Pacifica’s style, size, and function. It was a match made in heaven! bkm coordinated all of the placement and reconfiguration of the repurposed furniture to match the original design we made for Casa Pacifica, which included cubicles, private office furniture, and storage.
Not only was Casa Pacifica able to get their dream office, they were able to do so on a tight schedule and under budget. The past client was relieved to let go of his furniture knowing it was going to a good cause, and with some money in his pocket.
